What is ND:YAG laser?

The Nd-YAG laser emits a wavelength of 1064 nm using the solid-state and active substance neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet. This laser has the ability to reach deeper layers of the skin than all skin lasers. On the other hand, this technology has a good absorption by melanin and hemoglobin.

What is KTP?

If we place the KTP filter in the 1064-nm wavelength patch, the frequency is doubled and the wavelength is halved; so, the green light in the visible light range with a wavelength of 532 nm is achieved by using the Nd-YAG laser.

   KTP (532 nm)

With a wavelength of 532 nm, this handpiece is capable of treating all surface lesions and pigments. Since, according to the selective absorption table, the rate of hemoglobin absorption at 532 nm is 5 times higher than 595 nm so, the results of treatment with this wavelength have been very impressive.

ND:YAG (1064nm)

This handpiece with a wavelength of 1064 nm (ND:YAG truPulse) is used to treat deeper lesions and due to a very strong sapphire cooling system, which efficiently provides cooling of the epidermal surface, maximum energy is delivered to the target chromophore without damaging the skin surface.

2. Genesis V Handpiece

Genesis V laser radiates a micropulse laser with a wavelength of 300 microseconds with high energy to create heat in the dermis and epidermis. Genesis laser has amazing effects on collagen and skin pigments that are used to treat diseases such as rosacea, scars, nail fungus, skin erythema, and toning.
